Our sweetpeas were stunning this year. So much colour and they just keep going. Always several fresh arrangements in the house and gifted so many to neighbours and friends. Will be planting more next year...maybe along the fence line??? 🤔 #GardeningTwitter #GardeningHour

Picked up a cheap Garden Arch on a local selling site. It was perfect for growing Runner Beans. My only mistake was not planting them both sides of the arch for a more dramatic effect. Next year though! #GardeningTwitter #allotment #growyourown #GardeningHour

Sunflowers!!Never had much joy with these at the house 😩 so was very happy to have at least 10 over 6ft this year. I've saved the seeds and I'm hoping to give them away next year #gardeningTwitter #gardening #allotment #allotments #sunflower

It's fair to say the original fence had seen better days. Its was replaced earlier this year using some old roof joists and some slats we sourced cheaply. Total cost less the £50. Looks great and a bargain #GardeningTwitter #allotment #Gardeninghour

👀 first of the sunflowers is getting ready to open. I’ve never had much joy growing them but my father-in-law gave me trays of them he’d started from seed and they’re doing great. This one is about hip height but there’s bigger ones too. #SunflowerChallenge2022

😋😋😋 Creamy Lemon Chicken with Spinach and potatoes that WE GREW! This is a first for us so we are over the moon. They were gorgeous, covered in butter and salt of course. With the amount I’ve planted i predict a few meals along the same theme this month. Yum! #allotment #gyo

To harvest or not to harvest 🤔? These parsnips were germinated in February and kept in the Greenhouse before being planted into large pots. They look good from what I can see…but when shall we pull them up??? #allotment #GardeningTwitter #growyourown #gyo #parsnip

It may not look anything special but there’s so much promise in this bed :-) potatoes, sunflowers, runner beans, calmomile, rhubarb, verbena, catanache, beetroot, cosmos, sweet peas and of course apples. Hopefully a very productive bed #allotment #GardeningTwitter #growyourown

The beautiful Italian Garden at Lyme Park, Stockport @NTLymePark If you ever get the chance to visit I’d highly recommend. Absolutely Stunning. My phone camera does not do this place justice #GardeningTwitter
