Finally found one way to add textures to the raycaster on Sega Megadrive but it's a bit messy so I'm looking for a better alternative (basically had to write a lossy tile compressor) but still fullscreen at 60fps #SGDK (textures from LAB at opengameart.org/content/lab-te…)

Here is a short video testing the Into the Darkness engine. Everything is still very preliminary and there is a lot to be done. Still, anyway, you can get a sense of the objective of the FPS part of the game, despite it still falling far short of what I expect.
