Does anyone understand how Keir Starmer’s threat to recognize a Palestinian state is supposed to put pressure on Israel to call a ceasefire? There is no Palestinian government, per se. There is no Palestinian country or capital. What is to considered this Palestinian state?

I do not understand the math behind the Israeli and Palestinian hostage/prisoner swap. First it was 3 hostages for 90 prisoners. Now it’s 4 hostages for 200 prisoners. Can someone explain this math?

I know I’m not the only one asking this, but if Joe Biden is not cognitively competent, how can he sign legal documents and have them be valid? Isn’t competency a prerequisite for legal actions? Isn’t that why minors cannot enter into legal contracts?

I have seen some Democrats post that crime is highest in Republican run states and seen the Republicans respond that the highest crime cities, which drive those state numbers, are run by Democrats. Who has more power to affect those crime rates, the city or the state government?
