PSA: If you buy/register a domain via Cloudflare, you are LOCKED into using their name servers as long as they are the registrar. If you want to use another authoritative DNS (i.e. Route53, etc.) you'll need to transfer that domain to a another registrar and pay that fee.

Do yourselves a favor and use Mullvad for VPN. It's one of the better options in terms of privacy. Accounts are anonymous (random unique numbers), no-log policy, anonymous payment forms, multi-hop, etc. My only pet peeve is they removed port forwarding but, that's about it.

Tailscale is really good if you have a home lab or if you're self-hosting (even across clouds) and need to remote into your devices without exposing them to the internet. Much easier to configure vs. a traditional VPN setup and they have a VERY generous free tier.

Finally tried @CloudflareDev’s background removal beta with Cloudflare Images. Dead easy to integrate and works well with R2 hosted and remote images BUT, @replicate is still consistently faster for me (using 851-labs/background-remover) which is surprising considering traffic…
