Susie is literally the main character of deltarune everything revolves around her

Like even ralsei's very weird "as long as susie is happy" that he said multiple times in chapter 2....she's the main character of the prophecy which also means the game

@polypearIs I think Jaru said something abt this in one of his videos. The player is possessing a side character, which is why we see things from Kris' perspective, but Susie is actually the one that everything revolves around

@polypearIs Honestly my current theory is that Noelle was meant to be “the main character” and Susie was the one who ended up in the dark world first so Ralsei just assumed she was the monster of the prophecy

@polypearIs Nah, Kris is still the main character. Susie is just the Aragorn or the Glenn of the story. Lord of the hammer is a reference to LOTR, and the game has a lot of references to Chrono Trigger, so it makes sense for Toby to write that type of "hero≠protagonist" character.
