I booked in to a motel in a country town last night because I’m driving my car back to Queensland & that takes two days & because I was checking in late they texted me to tell me my room number, that the key was “under the doormat” and they’d put a hot water bottle in the bed

If you ask a disabled person if they need help, wait for their answer before you start “helping” them. Pushing or grabbing a disabled person without consent is not help. It is intrusive and coercive and may, in fact, hurt the disabled person.
