Canceled my $200 Claude sub. Moved fully to ChatGPT Codex last week. I use Codex CLI (command line) daily and hand off work to background agent when it makes sense. Net: better workflow, better economics. I love it.

GPT-5 with Codex CLI is far better now than at launch the best part of Codex is that you can use GPT-5-Thinking-High on a $20/m plan and rarely hit usage caps Codex updates roll out almost daily, with 8-10 bug fixes and new features

yeah so OpenAI’s Codex CLI slaps crank that up to High reasoning on the $20 month plan and let it cook I needed to mock up some complex interactions in a graph model for an engineer I fed it a list of specs 15m later, hit 90% coverage Claude never got past 10% on Opus
