One of my students told his mom he wanted to bring me flowers for my birthday so they picked some from their garden and brought them in. But they were had ants on them and now there’s ants all over my classroom.

I’ve always gotten along with my future MIL, but planning our wedding with her around is driving me insane. She wants so badly to be helpful, but she isn’t really taking into account our vision or budget and she’s focusing on the completely wrong things.

Send me some positive vibes for this school year because every time I talk to the other teachers about the group I’m getting they all say, “Good luck. I’ll pray for you.” But I really NEED this group to be better than last year’s or I’m not gonna make it. 😩

I really think it might be time to get out of childcare. The burnout is real. This has been the summer from hell. I keep telling myself that I just have to make it a few more weeks and then I’ll get a new group of students, but idk if it will be any better.

Very annoyed because last time I went for a pedicure I specifically clarified several times that I wanted regular polish, NOT gel. I just tried to take the polish off and it’s definitely gel polish.

Now I’m having about our processional music. The song I was going to walk down the aisle to would also make a good first dance song. I could use the instrumental version as I walk down the aisle and then use the lyrical version as our first dance song. Cute or too repetitive?

Wedding planning has been more stressful than fun lately so today I decided to do something fun and work on figuring out some of our music. I figured out our processional songs and I’m super excited about them, but my fiancé is not feeling well and couldn’t care less.
