Pre-dinner beach walk listening to my favourite album by my favourite band. When PG left I feared that was the end and was therefore dumbstruck when I heard this. PC deserves enormous credit for stepping out from behind the drum kit. One of the best albums ever recorded. 6 ⭐️
Now playing … A superb album from start to finish and such a monumental achievement for the band given the background.
This afternoon’s listening … Four tremendous albums to kick-start Steve solo career. I don’t think he’s bettered any of them since, but plenty of time left hopefully 🤞
Today’s tip … Italian guitarist Marco Mattel’s second album, this one featuring, amongst others, Peter Gabriel alumni Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta, as well as PFM’s Duilio Galioto on keyboards.
