Hot take: Commander was sweet when it was a jank format, but is boring af now because the entire card pool is designed for it. It needs to be burned to the ground and replaced with a new sweet jank format. Penny Dreadful Commander would at least be self-correcting.

My conclusion assessing the mental states of various Magic constituencies on Twitter is that Modern makes people angry, Standard makes people emo and angry, Legacy/Vintage makes people tribal, and cube/draft just makes people happy.
