I am preparing to launch on Product Hunt tomorrow! I am in the final steps of producing all the screenshots etc. I now updated the how it works section on my landing page to hopefully make that part a bit clearer! Would love to get some feedback from you guys.

After a busy weekend I started to work on an ad campaign for quickdeploy today. I want to see if people that visit my page are willing to buy the product! Let's see if it is the validation I am searching for! The next steps are to launch the product on different platforms..

How do you guys mainly host your apps? My preferred stack is a Hetzner VPS, Docker, and Caddy! I have been using this for some years now and I love the simplicity of it!

Yesterday evening was super productive! Added support for multiple containers in one project, e.g. backend + frontend. Also added db support, so now you can use --db postgres to also spin up a PostgreSQL database :D

Today I added a simple user flow for setting up quickdeploy for their VPS. Next I have to add some more options, but I think this is a good start. Now the user can run: quickdeploy push --domain <domain> and it will be deployed to their configured server :)

3 tools I use every week that save me from insanity (and a 4th I’m building) - beekeeper studio -> the best db client i have used - @github pr extension -> comments directly in cursor - @ohmyzsh -> fun in the terminal - quickdeploy -> to deploy with one command What are yours?

Added .env support for my deployment tool. I can now just create a .env.production and it will be available in my project immediately! That was definitely a key piece missing. Tomorrow I will work a bit on the setup process and configuration step.

Added rolling updates for deployments! Now updating apps is a lot simpler. Before it involved some manual steps. Now it is also all handled by the command! 🥳

People seem to like supabase, I think it is working well and is a cool tool. But I prefer @pocketbase as it has everything included in one binary and is super easy to self host on your own VPS!
