Some progress here: awsipv6.neveragain.de Starting to look decent on desktop. Still horrible on mobile though. Data will be updated daily ... soon.
omg so ec2.amazonaws.com is not reachable over ipv6. So if you have an autoscaling group in a private subnet lifecycle hooks just do not work and your ASG will grind to a halt. I knew Ipv6 was crippled. But this is just insulting at this point
I've been building a map of all AWS API endpoints (left) in all regions (top) ⚫️ = API not present in region 🔴 = API is IPv4-only 🟢 = API speaks IPv6 ... but ... damn, there's just so many of them! This way of displaying it is completely useless. Will think of something else.
