Did you know that you can use the CLI program `pdfly` to split a PDF? superuser.com/a/1807735/64857 `pdfly cat in.pdf 2:4 -o out.pdf` is just the simplest of many ways to use it

fpdf2 is now part of the py-pdf organisation, just like pypdf github.com/py-pdf/fpdf2 🎉 We hope both projects benefit from this move on the long run by a better exchange+support of the projects. fpdf2 is awesome at PDF generation, pypdf excels at text extraction+manipulation

pypdf==3.13.0 was just released 😻 As the maintainer, I'm most excited about our new release automation: I just need to push a `git tag` and Github Actions push a package to PyPI + a release page is created on Github: github.com/py-pdf/pypdf/r… 🧑‍🎤 - A big thank you to @mpeveler 🙏

⚠️pypdf<=3.8.1 and PyPDF2>=2.2.0 had an infinite-loop vulnerability 🐞 That could be used to block the current process and use 100% of the current core of the CPU. It does not affect memory. Upgrade to pypdf>=3.9.0. The latest and greatest is pypdf==3.11.1 😁

pypdf 3.10 is on PyPI 🎉🥳 You can now replace images, e.g to reduce the file size of a given PDF quite significantly. You can also extract inline-images. And pypdf became better in handling forms. A big thank you to pubpub-zz and the new contributors! github.com/py-pdf/pypdf/r…
