Basically, Kafka isn't adequate as an event store for event sourcing because you can't immediately read the events you just committed (giving a potentially stale view), and also you can't directly select all the events for an aggregate (because there are only partitions).

Release candidate 9.2.0rc3 is on PyPI. pypi.org/project/events… The release notes are here: eventsourcing.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topi… If you are using v9.1, please do try testing your code with this RC. There are quite a lot of changes, so please see how it works for you and let us know!

A lot of people blaming #Log4j devs about the exploit... I honestly find it pathetic. A lot of people sharing the "Dependency" XKCD post? Maybe appropriate. But this is WAY more appropriate. You get what you pay for, and if you can, and don't pay enough, YOU are to blame.
