not a fan of explaining bilesbian as a way to include miaspec genders specifically, instead of anyone who isn't a woman. just because someone isn't one of the binary genders doesn't mean they're okay being included with the other binary gender. abinary folks are always ignored.

requiring bi, the most openly defined mspec orientation, to include certain genders so that you can reenforce the gender binary and keep all orientations binary locked and entirely separate while redefining them in "inclusive" ways is the actual issue

yeah, that's the changed def. historically lesbian has focused on women. separatism changed it to focus on "no men" & using that exclusionary template ppl who are not woman/are attracted to genders other than woman but who prefer iding as "no men" lesbians changed it to "nonmen".

got blocked but not before adding a bunch of doubling down on claims that xenos can never affect anything for anyone, men & women can be visually identified, & no bi person ever ids as not being attracted to all genders (even if it's true) so idk what "not for policing ids" means

wild that not restricting the def of bi does not affect ppl who experience ungendered attracted to all genders. it just validates other genders and allows ppl who don't experience that specific kind of multi gender attraction to feel welcomed in bi spaces. but there's pushback.

The history of not recognizing that there are more than two genders is clearly alive and well, don't have to learn that. The bi comm has worked hard to distance from binary limits. Why reenforce and prioritize the binary to restrict the umbrella term for multi gender attraction.

Look at that. Got blocked. So concerned about bi misinformation yet wants bi to have one definition, requiring attraction to both binary genders, instead of recognizing that there are more than two genders and multiple ways of being bi, the way the bi manifesto says.

never really see any bi folks slag on other mspec orientations the same way. like where's this energy towards ppl who say that their kind of multi gender attraction can't be bi cause bi ppl must be attracted to all genders or that nonbinary genders don't count and stuff like that

That's what the "they" means? Ppl with multiple genders or who id with multiple orientations? I still don't understand what exactly is confusing. Unless you're just entirely erasing nonbinary genders.

replies aren't working didn't ask why you don't use the new "nonman" def. idk what your display name/bio has to do with what I did ask. sounds like the answer is only some can be included in lesbian attraction and changing the definition of bi, so thanks I was just curious
