The answer is you don't need AI. No HMM needed You can get basically the same result by finding a feature that captures your regime (hurst, funding rate avg, 1y % ret, VIX, ATM vol), run .describe() and pick some quantile threshold and if over thresh_upper we are in regime.

A few weeks ago I launched quantgpt.chat for users of the popular Python library VBT PRO: vectorbt.pro So far, it has served over 1,300 messages so far to over 300 unique users. For a community of less than 900 people, I think this solid adoption rate!
