I liked @Sleep_Token before seeing them live, but after seeing them and listening to the Take Me Back To Eden album again I now think it is one of the best full albums I have ever heard. If you haven’t checked them out here is your sign!

#apple #ios screen time parental controls are an absolute mess. I want to set an age limit for apps but whitelist specific apps. Apparently this is impossible, or at least impossible to find. Any recommendations on kid friendly tablet systems?

I like that autocorrect used to be amazing like I could type basically garbage and it would magically get it right, and now I’ll be trying to say time out like “tim eout” and iPhone says “oh I know you are trying to say TIGER ONION like people say all the time”

I ask questions but turn this around: if they ask you something, was that information you should have already shared? Are you noting that for future interviews? If you did this consistently, how long till they wouldn’t need to ask questions? And then would fail the interview 🤔

One thing that surprised me as a grown up is how many strong opinions I would have about coffee cups and mugs. Young, naive Joel thought they were all about the same. Ahhh the blissful ignorance of youth.

I have had a long-standing “ask 3 people” rule for these kind of things that has served me well over the years. I highly recommend it. Different people come to understand (or misunderstand) how things work based on their experience.
