FSD Supervised: The Bitter Truth They're Not Telling You ⚠️ They say "Full Self-Driving (Supervised)" gives you your time back. Don't fall for it. As someone who's been using Tesla's driver-assist since 2018, let me tell you the unfiltered reality: it's more like babysitting a very demanding AI. Sure, you can maybe sneak a sip of coffee or a quick bite. But try to glance at your phone, change a song, or check your route? BEEP BEEP BEEP! Prepare for the nanny-state of driver monitoring and the dreaded "strike" system. Five strikes, and BAM! You lose Autopilot and FSD. Imagine going back after years of relying on it! The truth is, "supervised" FSD doesn't free up your time. It consumes mental energy. You're constantly on edge, knowing one wrong move triggers a scolding and risks losing a feature you likely paid thousands for. Forget about working on your commute, having a truly relaxed conversation, or just zoning out. Until we reach true Full Self-Driving where you can literally be a passenger, this "supervised" version feels more like a gilded cage. Even simple things become a battle. Want to use your phone's voice recorder while driving? Nope! Tesla's system blocks the microphone. It's these little annoyances that highlight the gap between the promise and the frustrating reality. @elonmusk is, with all due respect, focusing solely on eliminating these needs with true FSD ignores the very real need for usability improvements in the meantime. We're stuck in this awkward middle ground where we have advanced tech, but it's so restrictive it often feels more stressful than helpful. Bottom line: If you're buying into the hype that FSD supervised will magically grant you extra hours in your day, think again. It's a far cry from the autonomous future we were promised. What are your experiences with FSD supervised? Is it giving you time back, or is it more stress than it's worth? Share your thoughts in the comments below! As for me, I would never drive any other vehicle than a @Tesla it's So much better than any car I've ever driven -even if I had to go back to driving it myself 🤣 #Tesla #FSD #FullSelfDriving #Autopilot #Driving #Technology #ElonMusk #CarTech #Innovation #RealityCheck #Commute #Frustration #EV
