Nope. Jesus didn’t ask the Roman Emperor for a thing. The Church today acts the same way Jesus did. Helps others with no expected return. So no. God is not a Socialist at all. But God DOES expect US to help our neighbors...and not the government to do it!

Ok so you aren’t a real journalist then. I took journalism in HS. Advisor for school newspaper & yearbook called out anyone on journalism staff for misspelled words & grammar. Considered those that could not spell or grammar as “not real journalists” because written word is key!

A shame this “award winning journalist” (opinionist really) does not know grammar. “You’re”? Seriously? Please don’t blame on “autocorrect”. Doesn’t work that way. I just tried it. Really do have to type the “re” to put in the apostrophe. Maybe check YOUR “duh”award before brag?
