I don't really know what it is like to not feel that sense of doom. It's present in my earliest memories, going back to infant school. None of the methods I was offered made it go away But now I think making it go away isn't helping. Facing it and living with it is possible.

Saying you have experienced a form of privilege isn't actually quite the same thing as saying that you are directly and solely personally responsible for all of the inequality and pain and suffering that exists in the world. But turning it into that is a lot easier.
