2022. We began our fight against Karen's cancer. Our youngest son came home from the far side of the planet at just the right time. Our older son graduated from sem, was ordained and installed at his first call. His wife started teaching again. Grandson turned 2. Busy year.

I love the Christmas hymns. And this year I got to baptize a little guy, which was a perfect day for it. One baby Savior, and one baby that He came to save.

For almost 9 months now, I've had to deal with two opposing possibilities. She might beat the cancer, or the cancer might beat her. I had to be prepared either to keep her here, or to let her go. I did everything I could for her here, and knew that she'd be okay with Christ.

Looks like we made it. After all that chemo, the surgery, every day wondering how many days we had left together. Her cancer is gone. It probably has not spread. Medical people, financial people, praying people have all been wonderful. God has been with us always.
