Your reminder that the Permanent Bar of INA 212(A)(9)(C) is immoral and is causing extraordinary harm. It was a terrible idea in 1996, it's a worse idea today. It is forcing families to be separated for no legitimate reason. It is perhaps our most unchristian of immigration laws.

🚨This is massive! Judge Sullivan, in the ACLU's "Huisha-Huisha" lawsuit, vacated Title 42 entirely, granting the ACLU partial summary judgment and holding that the policy was arbitrary and capricious under the APA. He also refuses to grant a stay. Title 42 is temporarily gone!
