Seriously? Widgets? The thing that has failed repeatedly for more than 14 years? That’s what Apple is pushing now? Why? #WWDC2023 I feel like Apple is getting more and more out of touch with people. I feel like I’m watching a WWDC from a decade ago.

I keep seeing this myth that "the WGA didn't win anything in the '07 strike." Let's be clear: The '07 strike won us union coverage of STREAMING. Without it, writers who work for Netflix, Disney+, etc., would not be in the Guild or have union protections AT ALL.

Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.
