@rishsamjain Lot of European countries tax similarly to us and even more, but people are happy to pay those because of NO corruption and good education. This leads to great people incharge who make great decision to provide great services by the government with honesty.

@rishsamjain In India hardly 3% of the total population pays income tax. GST is substitute of Sales Tax and hence can't be the substitute for income tax. In France 70%+, UK 51% and USA 48% pay their taxes.
