The law was found to violate Section 7 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms because it infringed upon a woman’s right to “life, liberty and the security of person.”

My first horse lived to 27. My current mare is 24. I’ll pay to care for her until she’s ready to go. I’ve ridden at backyard barns to huge fancy show stables and not once have I seen three horses euthed at once. This is just callous enjoyment of death.
