One thing that annoys me is when physicians say “soon all surgeons will be is technicians” like the operating isn’t hard, and surgeons who live up to this and say “anyone can be taught to operate”. Decision making is paramount but I’m sorry, not everyone can operate!

Today I saw an MSI-High metastatic gastric cancer patient who surely would not have been alive if it wasn’t for immunotherapy; and also more importantly if it hadn’t picked it up on liquid biopsy #ctDNA 🧬 circulating tumor DNA testing. Dramatic early ➡️ durable response!
