@rubberduckvba I really think the reason is because VB.Net and VB6 are out of the ranking. Last year all the 3 Basic languages were in top 5. And nice article btw, I agree with every part of it ☺👍🍷

@rubberduckvba Don't forget that there are many concepts in COM that are not immediately available in VBA, but that are still supported.

@rubberduckvba I think there are two main issues that make VBA the most dreaded. 1) the IDE is shit 2) developers have to rewrite these gateway programs when they get two big for excel/office
