@ruslitra It's the same in Modern Greek - the patronymic is still part of the full name. The difference is that we don't use the patronymic in everyday life - it's Mr./Ms. plus surname formally, and just the given name informally.
@ruslitra The patronymic is used (together with the forename and the surname) on very formal occasions only: on your ID documents, when you have to submit an application to state authorities, your University degree etc.
