We already have a term for vibe coding. It’s called no coding.
I've noticed replit overcharging. Seems like a big issue. It'll do the same work twice and create checkpoints. I'm getting single request prompts producing 3 checkpoints now.
$0.25 a checkpoint on replit is pretty much egregious. I'll end up moving back to my old method of using claude with a monthly fee to get code responses. I like replit a lot though. I'm $20 into a single project though and happy with the output, but it's not a competitive price
My favorite vibe coding is done in replit with claude 3.7 so now I'm broke.

LLMs are like car navigation. Once upon a time we all memorized how to get places, and then with navigation we really did forget how to get places without it. Make sure understand whether you’re just trying to get somewhere or trying to learn how to get somewhere.
What do people actually think about chatgpt-4o for programming? I used it for the small task of making a hexagon grid and it failed over and over even with code examples. Maybe hexagons are too hard?
