From a nationally representative serosurvey we find that ~1 in 6 people in Bangladesh have evidence of recent infection with V. cholerae O1. More than 28 million infections annually though only a fraction that lead to severe disease. tinyurl.com/y3z4pdur

We must stop looking for reasons not to confront the crisis head on. The virus doesn't get tired. The virus doesn't have competing priorities. We must be relentless in our commitment to regain control. It's not too late to turn the corner.

A new ICE rule says international students in the US on visas will have to attend face-to-face classes or leave the country. This is a wildly horrible idea in the middle of a global pandemic. Call your representatives. Make some noise on behalf of a group that has few protections
