So, be patient. Empathise with everyone. Note that mental illness is real and people can’t help it at times. It isn’t cowardly or faulty. It’s a cry for support. Check on people, even if they’re smiling. Be kind even when they’re alive. Silence hurts more than wounds. (7/7)

You never know what someone is going through. If their capabilities of overcoming are similar to yours. You asking them to “courage up and live” only makes it worse, forcing them believe, they can’t do a basic human thing like everyone else. Live. (6/7)

However; There’s only so much that one can do. We as a society, need to understand that it is easy to pass hate and judgement, but gallant to slow down and empathise with people. It’s not as easy as it sounds. Sometimes the monster under the bed is real. (5/7)

A person suffering from mental illness, is constantly under pressure of underperforming life. Yes, it is self made. But please understand; it isn’t self controlled. Sometimes the worst place you can be in, is your head. And mental illness makes sure you feel that struggle. (4/7)

Mental illness does not necessarily hit one when they are mad at something/someone. It’s the aftermath of our engineered systems, where we are constantly expected to be happy; and when we aren’t, we push ourselves to an extent, where life seems meaningless. And thus, bleak. (3/7)

It’s not “if they wanted to, they could”, it’s not the “life lessons”. It’s, “I wish I had been kinder, so they didn’t have to do this”. It’s not you, your life, your resilience or your idea of comfort. It’s them. Their everything. You can’t judge, you can’t expect. (2/7)
