That’s all good. But the real test is trying to avoid relegation, again, from State League 1 like last time. Pontian dominated State League 2 the previous year, and got thumped in the SL1 this season.

I don’t mind the concept of a club world cup. I’m surprised it hadn’t really been implemented years ago (2000 aside). There are things to work out, like its place in the calendar meaning some contracts are invalid come a certain point. & you probably don’t need the Inter Cup now
