Congrats to Hazel Martin for participating in the UNCP Honor Band this past Saturday! Hazel played four pieces all learned in a single day with other middle students from various other schools in Southeast North Carolina. Great job Hazel on representing the arts at SCMS!

Thank you to Rayna Maglione for the amazing new artwork in the band room! Rayna is in Mrs. Berdeau’s Advanced Art class, plays trombone in 8th grade band and placed 3rd in the Azalea Festival Poetry contest. Just a small example of the arts programs at SCMS!
