My takeaway following not listening to the interview and based on articles released since the window closed is that Jeff Shi is laying the foundation to center blame on Vitor when we inevitably are struggling for survival. Also, he has lost a lot of hair.
If reported salaries are to be believed, our starting #9 who was wanted by Newcastle for £60M doesn't earn much more than our fearless CEO...my word. No wonder no one wants to come here.

Your literal job as a VAR ref is to make sure mistakes aren't made. There should be zero tolerance. Being reassigned for one match so that you don't spoil the result for one of Sky's Big 6 is grossly insufficient.

You do have to wonder how much of the drop off in individual performances is driven by the players watching their top performers be sold & not replaced while the CEO is disinterested & absent & the owner likely doesn't even know who any of them are. Has to be very demoralizing.

Very interested to see Fosun's mid-year earnings release when it comes out in the coming days. Reading through old earnings reports I stumbled upon this gem where @Fosun_Intl couldn't even spell our managers name correctly and spent more time talking about esports than Wolves.
At this stage, I want to believe Fosun are selling off our key assets to pay themselves a dividend knowing they have to reduce their valuation of the club...in reality, I think they just don't have a plan and take everything day by day.
Took a quick look into Fosun's 2024 performance and my view hasn't changed...Fosun can't afford to invest meaningfully in Wolves. Wolves are less than 0.5% of Fosun's total assets and the decision makers in China won't lose sleep if we're relegated & value goes down.
Give it two weeks and we'll hear that Fabio Silva has signed a one year contract extension and will be joining Roma on loan with an option to buy for €15M.
I don't care if it's the EPL, LaLiga, NFL, MLB, etc, international matches of domestic competitions should not be a thing. Leagues exist first for the local fan base who is increasingly forgotten. Intl support is a good thing, but that doesn't mean matches should be held abroad.
