Voter ID laws are critically important but it must also be free, easy, and fast for citizens to get the necessary documentation. Right now many places are in the exact opposite situation.

I'm surprised Jeff Hawkins isn't more well known in SV tech. Founded Palm which was amazing early innovator in mobile. For 15 years he's been doing neuroscience and seems to have made multiple breakthroughs with high relevance to AI such as this one: numenta.com/blog/2019/01/1…
