Can I just say Microsoft teams should be the textbook case study of what not to do in every class on user experience ever taught

Listening to the credits on a podcast this morning. They have 9 people working to put out two shows per week. During the pandemic, teachers were cranking out up to 4 podcast-like productions *per day* all by themselves. Plus grading. And everyone thought that was just fine.

@EduCelebrity Professional Development that micromanages teachers. When schools shut down teachers were told figure it out yourself. Submitting eight or nine page lesson plans and posting multiple statements on the board wasn’t and isn’t necessary.

Admins, this thread explains why us veteran teachers aren’t enthusiastic when you roll out your newly branded version of “we’re going to fix everything by teachers building better relationships”. We’ve already done this even without your slogan. We need real solutions.

He’s the leader of the Republican Party. As President, he said the Constitution gives him “the right to do whatever I want.” He’s running for President again. Yesterday, he called for the termination of the Constitution. Every Republican must condemn him by name. But they won’t.

52 days into the school year and I’ve already given out 288 pencils to kids who couldn’t be bothered to bring one to class. Even the one I gave them the day before. But if these kids end up unemployable, it will be because of the teachers union. Do I have that right?

This. CNN and FOX should both have this message front and center all the time. But they’re going to keep us fighting the stupid culture wars constantly, because they are both run by the class that benefits from this dysfunctional system and that class needs us distracted.
