i also feel like this was always going to be his ending but because dexter was such a popular show when it was on air, they left an opening for the future just incase, and in new blood i think they would’ve kept it like that had so many people not HATED how it was done.

i wanna predict it now. dexter’s gonna die in resurrection at the end, a running season show or not, he’s gonna die. it’ll most likely be from either protecting harrison or doing something good because they keep foreshadowing it and honestly, i can’t see another ending for him.
