If a friend is overwhelmed, assure them to communicate with you in ways best for them. It could just be by text or email, sometimes it's too exhausting to talk on the phone. Let them know they're not alone.

Centering Black doulas' who understand the trauma informed care framework. They hold space for mothers who most vulnerable at the time of conception, pregnancy and delivery. So many of us have yet to address pre-verbal trauma. Thank you for being a gift.

I really appreciate the artistic visuals and storytelling talents of Black British director Steve Mcqueen and African American directors Barry Jenkins and Ryan Coogler, etc. They depict Black tender masculinity in a way that is so healing. Positive representation is everything!
