Yesterday was @daschreiber's and my 10-year employee anniversary at @Lemonade_Inc, so I thought I'd share 10 lesser known fun moments from our history together.
1/ Sept 2015 - The name Lemonade was born from understanding we needed to find our place in people's lives. We can't prevent bad things from happening, but we can sweeten those moments and help people turn lemons into lemonade. Our service is the sugar, and we aim to become the most loved insurance company in the world. Unfortunately, choosing a name is easier than getting the domain. It took us more than 6 months of tough negotiations with multiple owners to finally get the deal done on Lemonade.com.
