18 Mo. cummprods. are NOT EUR's. Long laterals typically mean lower EURs & lower ROI's. Long laterals is just infill drilling & increase the RATE of depletion. The last 5K ft. in a 15ft. lateral appears to only recover 5% of OIP, not 8%. That not "efficient," its INEFFICIENT.

When normalized for lateral lengths 2024 & 2025 HZ tight oil wells in the Permian Basin are the LEAST PRODUCTIVE they've been in 9 years. 15K ft. laterals mask over-drilled, pressure depleted cores. When there is no more room to drill long laterals, production will drop, fast.
