Well... Coolship is exceptional. I’ve always been into what the folk at Wide Street are about, so it’s been a treat to see Sean and Carla push forward with their ideas and create something off the beaten track. Tart, layered and delicate. Or just yum. 🤷‍♂️ Hup Longford.

I was lucky enough to work with/for Shane and the DOT crew last year for a brief spell. They’ve taken the brave step to distribute their wares themselves. If you see DOT on the shelves/taplist, treat yourself.

My mam found this in a cupboard last year. And I’m glad she did. I remember being very confused by the special releases in 2015. Not sure I was ready for a wee heavy (still in my possession), or a proper sour. But I’m more than prepared now.

2017 edition of a well regarded brew, my first year as a member of the roster. Many fond memories and many more beers thanks to the Cellar. Solid balance to this one, no real surprise there. Bring on the winter... Looking forward to seeing what the gang do with DOT this year.

Last year in Cork, I bumped into @YellowBellyDec in Abbott’s. He recommended a few beers that were on tap and a couple he had spied behind the counter. He was also delighted to see one of his own beers in the wild. “I’ll be bringing that home” he said. He got distracted...
