New anti-cheat feature where players are hidden behind terrain (server occlusion) is now enabled by default (unless sever owners opt-out). This feature should limit the effectiveness of ESP cheats, hopefully it is now ready for release after all the extra work. #Rust

The occlusion (anti-wallhack) on @playrust is terrain based instead of distance based. This change significantly deters wallhacks, making it harder for cheaters to exploit visibility through walls. Kudos to the team for this improvement! I look forward to future iterations on it!

CND's learning more on how game developers plan to improving their service. Some are choosing to monetizing access to premium "client to server" speeds. As this idea and tech grows the expectation is to see a phase out "Gaming with a vpn" But probs not as soon as tomorrow.

TL;DR If you're Rust Steam inventory is worth over $15 you'll have access to "premium servers". This is experimental in being a gate against cheat users. It's not going stop every cheat users, but based on data we have now and behaviour patterns, it'll stop over 98%.

We're on track to be releasing premium servers on March 6th. The gateway price will initially be $15, down $5 from what we communicated prior. This is based on data from millions of accounts, comparing banned accounts to regular players. Summer of what premium servers are:
