Yesterday, a local friend in Chiang Mai took us out for a meal. They chose a Northeastern Thai restaurant with a rich flavor that completely changed my understanding of Thai cuisine once again. The best part? It’s only a five-minute drive from our place. We’ve been living here almost a year and never noticed it… I suddenly feel so much like a foreigner!
