Any time someone complains about health insurance, someone else likes to bring up millions of dollars in cancer costs. My dude, that is not health insurance. That is catastrophe insurance. A broken leg on the ski hill or a colonoscopy should not skirt bankruptcy.

I have/had an Iranian penpal. Sometimes we'd chat every day. Sometimes there's be weeks of radio silence because she had to find new ways to hide that she was talking to an American. I haven't heard from her in over a year. I still think about her. I hope she's okay.
