Challenging day. Son graduates high school. I'm excited and delighted to watch him. But...my daughter (with whom things are strained) will be there. It's causing lots of nerves. Not thinking of drinking, but I wish things were easier. #RecoveryPosse

I'm sorry for just periodically posting bad news these days, but my friend's cancer diagnosis is not looking better. He is transitioning to palliative care. He will continue chemo, but I think he is really adjusting his expectations. Just horribly, horribly sad. #RecoveryPosse

I had mentioned my oldest friend's diagnosis with liver cancer, and sadly I have to give an update. It is stage 4 (and there are only 4 stages). Treatment begins Monday, but this is dire. #RecoveryPosse

Challenging day. After my friend's cancer diagnosis I was less visible to my wife for a few days. I was mostly doing online meetings-I think my wife silently wondered if I was drinking over it. I hate that feeling of suspicion. I get it, but it's painful. #RecoveryPosse

Sobriety gave me a gift tonight. Things between my wife and I have been 'fine', but tonight she really needed some help. I was there to provide it, and it led to the best night we've had together in a long time. #RecoveryPosse
