Today, I'm doing a gratitude list.. I am not very good at that because inside expected a lot, how disappointed I was. When, I sit, I'm grateful for everything that has ever happened because it made me who I am today.

Being retired is awesome. Being retired has its rewards and challenges. Being sober is no longer a challenge, it's a thing. A thing I'm going to try and keep. No one ever said Being sober was easy, being drunk is much harder. I'm glad, I have today.

Life is good when you surrender and take it as it comes. We all are successful because WE just can't surrender. I sure did succumb to the pleasures of drinking. Once, I realized I was just surrendering to myself, it became something I could do. I'm glad I surrendered. Aren't you?

I've had an amazing week. Made it through the super bowl and valentines day alone. The best thing, even when I'm alone, I could drink and no one would know. Since this is a program of rigorous honesty (for ourself only), I know. I always check myself. Keeping my sidewalk clean.
