Two things really changed my perspective on urban design: pushing a baby in a pram and my dad being in a wheelchair. Walking around @port_coogee yesterday was eye opening. It was easy to push the wheelchair, access cafes, parks and the beach. Everyone … bit.ly/2G8b3U0

The lines between work, study and relaxation are blurred in today’s working world. But is that a bad thing? Whilst we still need downtime (absolutely!) we can’t design spaces that totally seperate these things anymore. For example, bench seats where peop… ift.tt/2FlRMwX

Ok I’m sold. Who needs a standing desk when you can have a nap desk? Sleep is incredibly important to productivity. We have far too much light pollution which can impact our natural circadian rhythm. So get the shut eye however you can! Link to the art… ift.tt/2XkNJJo

The sound of laughter is sometimes the best measure of how well a space works. If you try to hard to design in connection between people it won’t work. It can be too sterile and doesn’t match the persona of your users. I love the @notredameaustralia ca… bit.ly/2GyiCFb
