One of the internal debates that I foresee happening in college football — why spend $8-$10M on a head coach when we could spend $5M and let the GM devote those millions to the roster? That to say — investing in players >> investing in a head coach.

When MLB decides to “realign” divisions — probably when expansion teams begin play — best approach with current Wild Card format would be 2 divisions in each league, with those winners getting byes. Then, we need to return to 1 game WC and have a best of 7 Division series.
