We are so excited that Dr. Ramsey was able to join our students today in the General Medicine in Athletic Training course. He discussed and demonstrated skills related to evaluating the heart, lung, and abdomen. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Dr. Ramsey! #50yearsofrockat

SRU's Physician Assistant Studies program is one of the few programs in the county with high fidelity simulation bodies. This classes are two years in length and prepare students for clinical rotations. ow.ly/JE5W50Jm9U8

Congratulations to our very own Nate Ritzman, a second year student in our program, for winning one of the NATA scholarship for 2023!

We want to introduce you to the Dean of the College of Health Professions here at SRU! Dr. Karshin reigns from Altoona, PA, but grew up in Johnstown, PA. She started her education at Edinboro University, attended IUP, landed at EMU, and then most recently, here with us at SRU!

Last new staff member…Stephanie O’Donnell Stephanie is another one of our social media associates, originally from Irwin, PA. She majors in exercise science and her favorite part about being at SRU is how close the whole community is!

Next up we have Delaney Purcell! Delaney is another one of our social media associates, originally from Brick, NJ. She majors in exercise science and her favorite part about being at SRU is the trees on campus in the fall!
