People are seriously making excuses for Hamas or even praising them for keeping hostages alive. The fact that hostages survived this ordeal doesn’t merit applause. Taking hostages is a war crime. Over 200 Israelis still held in Gaza. The Red Cross aren’t allowed to see them.

Smotrich and Ben-Gvir do not care about the hostages in Gaza. They do not care about the families desperately waiting for their loved ones. They care about bombing Gaza to oblivion and wiping it off the map. They see the hostages as collateral damage.

So if hostages were being held in Shifa Hospital, which more and more evidence is pointing to (including bodies discovered in the area), why exactly couldn’t the Red Cross see them? Surely if they heard hostages were being held in a hospital, they have a duty of care? No?

Hamas has reportedly freed another two hostages, again for "humanitarian reasons." The idea that Hamas has any humanity left after the rape, murder and violence enacted against thousands of Israelis two weeks ago is a sick, sick joke. 4 hostages released. Another 220 are left.
